Our Mission & Vision

The mission of The Refreshing Center is to love God, to love others, and to magnify the name of Jesus Christ. The vision of our church is to glorify our God and Savior, Jesus Christ, to make true disciples throughout all the nations by means of missionary activity and support, to minister the ordinances, to edify believers, and to do all that is sovereignty possible and biblical permissible to magnify the name of Jesus.

Leadership Team:

Our leadership team recognizes the authority of God, and realizes that we are shepherds who serve under the Chief Shepherd, Jesus Christ. We desire to devote ourselves to prayer and to the ministry of the Word. Our passion and goal is to equip the believers for the work of the ministry until we all attain maturity in the fullness of Christ.

JAMES W. MILLER III, SENIOR PASTOR

Pastor James Miller is a dynamic prophetic teacher of the word of God. He is known for his revelatory insights and biblical interpretations that unlock the hidden truths in the word of God. As a prolific bible teacher, Pastor Miller instructs believers by enlightening scripture in a way that always affords an in depth perspective of God’s Word; that challenges, uplifts, and encourages. Pastor Miller defining characteristics are wisdom, integrity, and faith. He preaches with intense passion, unrelenting power, God given authority, and fervor.

A native of Florida, Pastor Miller holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting from Florida Southern College and also holds a Doctor of Divinity from Grace Theological Seminary.

Pastor Miller is the faithful husband of Danielle Miller and the loving father of three children, James IV, Deonte, and Jamia

DANIELLE MILLER, FIRST LADY

Worshiper, mentor, and vessel of grace are some of the defining characteristics of this dynamic Woman of God. Danielle Miller is the First Lady of the The Refreshing Center where she serves faithfully providing leadership, love and loyal support to the local body of Christ. Having a passion to see women living at their fullest God-given potential, Lady Danielle oversee the Women’s Department at The Refreshing Center where she hosts monthly fellowships meetings, and other events to teach, empower, and promote strength and unity.

A native of Florida, Pastor Danielle holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Accounting & M.B. A from Columbia College.

Pastor Danielle is a devoted wife to her husband Pastor James Miller and the loving and nurturing mother of three children, James IV, Deonte, and Jamia.
